I am overjoyed, overwhelmed and abundantly blessed by the donations received thus far. When we decided to continue with our Annual walk and fundraising efforts, I had to admit I was unsure. Why? We are still in the midst of a pandemic and many of our participants are vulnerable in their health and could not participate in person. But God told me, when you cannot meet safely in person but we still can meet in prayer and purpose. Therefore we decided to continue with the walk by encouraging our participants to walk with close loved ones in F.A.I.T.H. wherever they feel safe on June 5th.
However, when I had to make a decision about fundraising I thought how could I ask people to donate when so many people are unemployed, starting businesses and/or in need themselves. Again, God told me remember your WHY and I will send WHO is able to donate. By Faith, I organized the fundraiser and God has managed it.
Today, I am ecstatic to share some great news. F.A.I.T.H. family we have 23 more days until the end of this fundraiser for Cornerstone of Hope. Because of the generosity so far we are able to send 100 kids to grief camp. This fundraiser raised $5,268, and reached 105% of the goal. You did it! We would love to continue to exceed this goal because the more raised the more children benefit from our donations. Cornerstone of Hope has several grief camps offered during the summer, so none of our donation will be wasted or received as excess.
My testimony today is DO WHAT THE LORD TELLS YOU TO DO! HE WILL MAKE A WAY!
