The Lorelle F.A.I.T.H. Foundation

Thank you for all who gave to our 5th Lorelle G.I.F.T Drive. GOD BLESSED US WITH GRACIOUS GIVERS. 165 gifts/items were given to the hospitalized children at UH Rainbow babies and children.I almost didn’t have the 2020 drive because I did not have my usual community partners and so many barriers but God made a way. I changed my perspective, it wasn’t amount the number of gifts or givers. It was remembering why we give. Truly, I did not if I would have only the gifts I could afford or other help. I am grateful and overjoyed for the giving of Kingdom Keepers Church; Adonai International Ministries, Lousiana; Doniella Ligon/ Smooches Boutique; Summer Haggins,TX; my parents, Kathy Burkett; L Boogie Hicks; Gena Fox; Laura Huthmacher; Gayle Wilcox Moss; Tricia Cusma; and Yvonne Franks ..you all made the difference at Rainbow and for the Lorelle F.A.I.T.H Foundation! Thank you all for all your prayers and support. The Lorelle G.I.F.T Drive was birthed after Lorelle’s passing. I found Grace In Faithful Times during some of my toughest days when Lorelle was hospitalized at Rainbows. Having Child Life provide toys and gifts for Lorelle and my other children when they visited, blessed us abundantly. For that reason and so many more we are committed to making sure they continue to have gifts to spread joy to hospitalized children especially during the hospital.We are a small foundation and the gifts this year are 10% of what we usually provide but every gift was given with love and FAITH. To everyone committed to a cause do not be discouraged by numbers or support, do your part. Someone will be blessed by whatever you are able to give. Someone is counting on you to keep going and not count cost but count blessings.
